Made In the United States Of America
What does it mean when we say “Made in America”?  I think it means that we are proud to live in a free country.  A country where someone can do most anything, if they apply themselves.  When I agreed to help Dale with the P.O.W. Game, I had no idea how much work it was going to take.

A special thanks to my family (especially my wife) for being so understanding about the long hours I’ve had to spend working on this project.

At first we planed to have another company build the games for us, right down to the shrink wrap and we would just sell them. But because we wanted to start with a small number (500 Games) it was very expensive and they would have to make them in China.

Because we live in the greatest country in the world, it didn't make sense why we couldn't make them here in the United States

U-N-I Games has gone to great lengths to use American Products. What has impressed me the most is the attitudes of the people I have had the privilege to partner with.

Let's start with Tippmann Pneumatics (Fort Wayne, Indiana), probably better known for there paint ball guns.  Bob Tippmann worked with U-N-I Games to pick out an affordable, high quality USA made Die Press that perfectly fit our needs.  Because we needed a more complex die than Tippmann manufactured, Bob told us about a Die maker named Mark Jeske of Steel Rule Diemasters (Menominee Falls, Wisconsin).

Mark helped U-N-I Games develop unique dies that could cut the foam board with the consistency and precision we needed to make the one of a kind P.O.W. Game Boards.  Mark is an incredibly talented person and took the time needed to understand exactly what we needed. After looking in vain for a ridged box company Mark told us about John Ray at Ray Production, Inc Parsons, Kansas

John Ray was an extraordinary help to U-N-I Games. He watched over us as we work through the entire process, keeping us on track and paid extreme attention to detail.

Rolco has been supplying board game pieces to the toy industry for 28 years. Finding them took a little effort but it was worth it.

The one thing I have learned is when you work with honest, hardworking, ethical people good thing will happen. It has been a pleasure doing business with all of them.
